All tools are provided by Cefn, as well as a work vehicle whilst onsite and travelling between farms and site for work purposes. Additional tickets, training and career development courses will be paid for by Cefn at our discretion for the right candidates.

Wage will be negotiated based on prior skills and experience.

Your Role

Due to expansion, we are seeking to employ entry level and skilled labourers to join our Construction and Maintenance divisions based 50 minutes from Toowoomba in the Leyburn area.

The positions involve working on new construction of intensive piggery buildings including installation of watering and feed systems, grid penning systems, ventilation systems, on-farm and workshop-based maintenance of existing piggery buildings, fixtures, fittings and machinery, routine and reactive maintenance within our feed milling operations as well as general repairs as required. We estimate 45 to 50 hours per week would be required on a regular basis and could provide flexibility for casual or permanent placement.

Your Skills

• Experience in either carpentry, plumbing, painting or concreting is well regarded.
• Construction white card
• Other industry tickets will be highly regarded such as forklift and EWP above and below 11 metres
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• You will be required to comply with all safety, quality and environmental hygiene requirements and meet the appropriate compliance standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Our farms and workshop are situated within 25 minutes of Clifton and 50 minutes of Toowoomba on the Darling Downs.
