We provide Managed IT support to business in a wide range of industries including Not For Profits, Allied Health, Manufacturing and Professional Services. We supply IT Support, Voice and Data, Hardware, and Cyber Security services across these clients, several of which have a national and international presence.
With a focus on Cloud First, we have a strongly defined stack of technologies we provide our clients to ensure they have secure, robust and reliable IT Systems.
The Role:
As a Service Desk Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic team of five Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, delivering exceptional technical support and guidance to our valued clients.
You will serve as the key escalation point for complex issues, ensuring swift resolution and fostering an environment where client satisfaction is paramount. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our strategic partners, including Microsoft, WatchGuard, 3CX, HP, and Ubiquiti, to deliver innovative solutions that align with our Cloud First strategy and exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
- A love of (and ability to) solve problems and challenges.
- A willingness to lead a group of peers to deliver outstanding IT support.
- 3 -5 years’ experience working with a service desk environment.
- Great communication skills, founded in being a good listener and able to speak both geek and human.
- Confidently able to explain complex topics in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
- Experience using support tools, techniques and how technology is used to supply services.
- Understanding of operating systems (Win10\11 and Windows Server), business applications, printing systems and networking.
- Well-developed diagnosis skills of technical issues related to end-user hardware, software and network devices
- Well-developed experience and knowledge of working with the Microsoft 365 Platform (create users, reset passwords and manipulate permissions).
- The ability to keep up with and adapt to the fast-paced IT world.
- Current Driver's License.
