About the role

Join the Jobwire team as a casual Registered Nurse in Collaroy and surrounding suburbs. This is a casual role, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal life. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality resident care within our aged care community.

What you'll be doing

• Assess and monitor resident health and wellbeing
• Develop and implement personalised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and effective manner
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated resident care
• Maintain accurate and detailed resident records
• Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursing practices and procedures

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 1 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an aged care setting
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, and the care team
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
• Commitment to providing compassionate, person-centered care
• Strong organisational and time management skills
