Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Workforce Relief Team (WRT) in a casual capacity. This role provides vital workforce support during periods of leave or increased activity within our District and Multipurpose Service (MPS) facilities. About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the WRT, you’ll enjoy flexibility and variety while providing safe, compassionate, person-centred care. You’ll collaborate with individuals and multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
This role allows you to share your expertise while also gaining exposure to new clinical areas.

You may be required to work in any of our 29 facilities across 6 Clusters. The Cluster areas are as follows;

Deniliquin / Finley Cluster
Corowa Cluster
Temora Cluster
Young Cluster
Tumut Cluster

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional Patient Care – Work within policy and your scope of practice to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
  • Critical Thinking – Use your clinical expertise to identify and implement safe, effective strategies to improve patient care and safety.
  • Communication & Teamwork – Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare teams, patients, carers, and families.
  • Professional Development – Stay ahead in your field by engaging in ongoing education and skill development.

Who we are looking for:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
Valid drivers licence (essential for travel between facilities)
