Riverina Oils produce refined vegetable oils & vegetable protein meal for the poultry, dairy and animal feed industries at their plant located in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
They are seeking experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Operators to become integral members of the Operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of their warehouse.
This role will be responsible for managing the receipt and dispatch of raw materials and finished good, operating forklifts and weighbridges, and maintaining equipment and infrastucture in excellent condition.
In addition, this role will ensure compliance with Safety and Quality Standards, monitor storage tanks, and adhere to site operating procedures, ensuring all operational requirements are maintained to the highest standards.
The position reports to the Warehouse Manager of Riverina Oils and works closely in a team environment.
You will be responsible for operating a modern production facility where you will be a flexible and reliable part of a dynamic team working across a rotating roster.
You will be confident and experienced in the following:
- Operating weighbridges and manage inbound and outbound seed, meal and oil operations.
- Maintain equipment and infrastructure in a safe and clean condition.
- Monitor storage tanks and ensure compliance with food safety and industry standards.
- Collaborate with delivery drivers, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Support and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Make decisions on the acceptance or rejection of incoming raw materials as per quality guidelines.
About you:
- Highly developed communications skills with the ability to maintain strong attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative, accurate and positive manner.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and complete work within established deadlines, and to maintain a consistent level of integrity.
- An ability to work effectively within a busy team environment, and to work unsupervised.
