Job Advertisement: Part-Time Receptionist for Allied Health Clinic

Position: Part-Time Casual Receptionist
Location: Collective Health Co Mons Road, Forest Glen, Sunshine Coast, QLD
Hours: 3 days per week with flexibility to cover holidays and sick days (availability 5 days per week is preferred)
Salary: $34/hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and efficient manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using our clinic management system.
  • Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, providing information or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
  • Manage patient check-in/check-out processes and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Support the clinical team with client-related tasks when required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an allied health receptionist is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional and friendly demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with clinic management software.
