MPD Law is a new Online Litigation Law Firm. We practice in a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial disputes, Estate Law, ACL and property litigation. Our team is dedicated to providing top-tier legal services while fostering a supportive and dynamic work environment.

We have developed our own bespoke online litigation platform to work with our clients in managing their cases.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Litigation Solicitor. This role is ideal for a solicitor with between three to five of post-qualification experience in any form of litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Assist in managing a diverse caseload of litigation matters, ensuring timely progression and adherence to deadlines utilising our proprietary online case management system (ezylegal).

Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare legal documents.

Drafting: Prepare pleadings, applications and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Client Interaction: Liaise with clients to gather information, provide updates, and address inquiries, maintaining a high level of client service.

Support Senior Solicitor: Work closely with our senior lawyer on complex cases, gaining exposure to advanced litigation strategies and court procedures.

Court Representation: Instruct Counsel and (where appropriate) attend court hearings and other legal proceedings, providing support and representing clients as required.

Qualifications

Education: LLB degree or equivalent; Practising Certificate.

Experience: Three to Five of experience in litigation.

Salary: Competitive and based on experience.

Professionalism: A commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Technology: familiarity with legal-tech systems (such as Lexis Nexis) highly regarded
