Job Opportunity: 2IC to Factory Supervisor – Bella Manufacturing

Bella Manufacturing, Australia's leading manufacturer of food trucks, trailers, shipping container conversions, and specialist mobile businesses, is expanding! Due to business growth, we are creating a new position for a 2IC to the Factory Supervisor to support our operations and ensure production runs smoothly.

About the Role

As the 2IC to the Factory Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the factory team, overseeing production, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. This hands-on role requires a trade-qualified Sheetmetal Tradesperson or Coach/Body Builder with strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and complete fit-outs within trucks, trailers, and shipping containers for bars, commercial kitchens, and tiny homes (specialised training provided).
• Fabricate and fit stainless steel benchtops and frames.
• Install equipment for custom-built units.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans accurately.
• Trim and seal components as required.
• Ensure all work meets deadlines and complies with industry regulations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to OH&S guidelines.

Essential / Desired Skills

• Trade qualification in Sheetmetal or Coach/Body Building.
• Experience in 12V electrical systems (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency in trimming and sealing techniques.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with confidence in project ownership.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Knowledge of OH&S guidelines.
• Experience building tiny homes (advantageous).
• RV industry fit-out experience (advantageous).
