About the role

As a contractor to Spotlight, you will use your own vehicle and tools to complete in-home installations of custom made curtains, blinds (indoor & outdoor) and shutters in our customers' homes. This role would suit an independent handyperson who has their own registered ABN.

We also anticipate that we will have work for you for roughly 2-3 days per week, subject to sales activity.

Duties

• Work closely with the Centralised Service team who will coordinate your appointments
• Fit window furnishings in customers' homes; curtains, blinds & shutters
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Manage stock and quality control
• Collect products from local store prior to installations occurring
• Provide reports on reworked items and windows check measured
• Calendar access and invoicing through our dedicated App

Requirements

• Must have experience or professional trade skills
• Proven handy person skills essential
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Own tools, phone, vehicle and registered ABN/Company
• Insurance and Public Liability required
