Timberclub Australia Pty Ltd (“Timberclub”) was established in 2017, based in Wollongong, a regional area of NSW. We are specialising in supplying and installing high-quality engineered oak, carpets, laminate, hardwood, and hybrid flooring, its exceptional product quality and professional installation services. The company provides durable, aesthetically pleasing, and high-performance flooring solutions tailored to both residential and commercial projects.
We are looking for an experienced Manager to lead our team, drive sales performance, enhance customer experience, and contribute to the continued growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and oversee the daily operations of the retail store
· Develop and implement strategies to maximise sales, increase revenue and achieve sales targets
· Set retail price, plan and organise promotional events, marketing campaigns and special offers to attract customers
· Hire, train and supervise a team of sales and customer service staff, conduct performance evaluations
· Cultivate strong relationships with customers and oversee customer service functions
· Create and maintain an appealing and customer-friendly store layout, ensure safe working environment for employees and customers
· Oversee all financial management including tracking expenses, managing budgeting and controlling costs
· Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable terms of purchasing products
· Research to gain a deep understanding of industry trends and customer demands, drive product development and expand product and service offerings
· Personally interact with customers, promote and provide advice on the company’s products and services
· Collaborate with sales teams to develop effective marketing strategies and promotional materials, manage company website and the company’s presence on social media platforms
· Monitor and evaluate the performance of the retail store
The Requirements:
· Minimum 3 years of retail management experience; experience in timber, building materials, or related industries is a plus.
· Proven team leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
· Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.
· Proficiency in retail management systems and basic financial analysis.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
