About us:
Australia Wide Assist (AWA) have been providing 24 Hour, 7 Day Roadside Assistance services, since 1993, to a range of customers with vehicles linked through automotive service groups, major franchised dealers, independent dealerships, insurance companies, warranty companies and repair workshops. Near or far from home, our team can dispatch aid in real time to our customers who need Roadside Assistance and works alongside our providers to deliver the highest level of service.
AWA is looking for Experienced Roadside Assistance Customer Service Officers to join our team providing reliable and expert services to our valued customers in Australia and New Zealand. We run an inbound call centre, NO Sales or KPIs.
Our 24hr/7day Roadside Assistance company is based in Norwood, SA. We pride ourselves in our ability to assist our customers and genuinely love helping others. We operate in a professional, friendly office environment and as a result we have been rewarded with loyal, long-term employees. Our team have loads of experience and our Team Leaders will help you with training and ongoing support along the way.
About you:
It is essential to have previous Call Centre experience in Roadside Assistance, Towing or Transport bookings and dispatch, or Automotive Industry experience.
Possess outstanding customer service ability and advanced telephone and computer operating skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to team operations and working relationships, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people. A positive attitude and self-motivation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, high-level problem-solving skills. Desire to achieve positive outcomes from every interaction.

Your role:
- To provide a high level of quality customer service within our call centre
- Inbound calls - provide an empathetic first point of contact for our customers who need Roadside Assistance, multi-tasking to achieve positive outcomes, act quickly to resolve their situation
- Outbound calls - dispatch job bookings to our Service Providers in Australia & New Zealand and follow up on outcomes including services provided, quotes, customer excess, kms travelled etc
- Data entry – internal job booking system, google mapping & maintaining customer records
- Develop positive relationships with co-workers, customers and our Service Providers
- Be confident and proficient with emails, mobile phone apps and multiple communication systems
- Knowledge of the Australian geography will be helpful
