Duties:

• Patient Assessment: Triage and perform initial evaluations of patients to determine urgency and severity
• Emergency Care: Provide immediate stabilization and life-saving interventions (e.g., airway management, CPR, trauma care).
• Diagnostic Support: Order and interpret tests (bloodwork, X-rays, CT scans) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver coordinated care.
• Patient Education: Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care to patients and families.
• Documentation: Accurately record patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in medical records.
• Emergency Response: Participate in Code Blue and other critical situations to resuscitate or stabilize patients.
• Patient Flow: Ensure efficient patient throughput and manage discharge or transfer as needed.

Requirements:

• ETEK & Resus Training
• At least 1 + years experience in ED.
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Bachelor of Nursing
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
