Overlander Hotel located in Mount Isa is seeking a manager to run our busy, face paced Bottle Shop.

Excellent large regional mining hub, with a busy airport with regular flights to Brisbane and Townsville. Small country city with all the amenities required to live comfortably, and build a new life in a unique place.

Our store features an extensive range of boutique spirits, craft beer and wine. We are continually up to date with market trends and innovations.

Must have a fork lift license. Must be willing to obtain one if not already got one. Reporting directly the the General Manager, you will have full autonomy for retail operations.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Stock management including ordering, rotating and stocktaking
• Database administration
• Rosters and staff management
• Merchandising and stock displays
• Promotional organisation and compliance
• Maintaining a strong GP% and positive growth in sales

The successful candidate will have :

• 2 years experience in a similar role
• A keen eye for detail
• Experience with back of house database systems (Those versed in H&L will be held in high regard!)
• Relevant qualifications including an RSA
• Strong availability
• A strong work ethic and good time management
