Ibrox Engineering have a vacancy for a full time qualified CNC Programmer / Operator

Salary: Competitive and negotiable salary from $80k + Super depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our team.

Located in Heidelberg West VIC we have a position available for a CNC Machinist Programmer who can handle multiple projects and various CNC machining, CNC five-axis Milling, CNC milling & CNC turning work on predominantly Okuma machines.

About You...
You are an experienced CNC Programmer/ Operator with a strong work ethic. You enjoy being part of a team and must have CNC programming experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manual and CNC machining – ie: Mills & Lathes
• Okuma Programming experience
• Computer and mechanical knowledge will be an advantage including CAD/CAM
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Reliable and with a fantastic work ethic
• Strong time management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Enjoy working in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fitter/Turner/Toolmaker with 5 years of work experience in the field.

Requirements:

• Current drivers license
• Proven strong verbal English communication skills as well as excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work with a team and as an individual
• Full-time Australian Citizen
• Ability to commute to Heidelberg West VIC 3081
