We have had extensive experience in the manufacturing and precision engineering industry we service the Rail, Mining, Construction, Medical, Printing and all related industries. In addition to our precision engineering capabilities we also Manufacture our own range of Stainless steel clamps for the pool fencing and balustrade industry.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Lathe and Machining Centre Programmer and Operator to join our dynamic and growing team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will play a critical role in producing precision components that meet our high-quality standards. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our cutting-edge projects and drive the growth of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC Lathe and Machining Centre machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. (DMG MORI NLX2500/700 Multi Axis CNC Lathe, Okuma Multi Axis CNC Lathe, CNC Hartford machining Centre with 4th axis ,DNM 5700 CNC Vertical Machining Centre )
- Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feeds to optimize machining processes.
- Conduct routine maintenance and ensure machines are in optimal working condition.
- Perform quality control inspections to verify the accuracy and precision of finished parts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process.
- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule machining jobs.
- Continuously monitor production processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Lathe and Machining Centre programmer and operator.
- Proficiency in setting up and programming CNC machines
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages.
- Knowledge of various materials commonly used in machining (e.g., metals, plastics, etc.)
- Knowledge of tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Safety-conscious and familiar with best practices in machining operations.
Preferred:
- Technical certifications or relevant formal training in CNC machining.
- Experience with, Fanuc ( Machining Centre) and Celos (Mori-seki Multi Axis)
