Kollab Recruitment are seeking a permanent part-time Chef Manager to work with our valued client in Pennant Hills, NSW.

This is a permanent part-time role with set hours Tuesday to Friday, 6.30am - 3.30pm

What you will be doing:

• Leading a kitchen team to produce high-quality, nutritious, and well-presented meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.
• Designing and implementing nutritionally adequate menus specific to aged care, ensuring they meet dietary requirements.
• Managing and supervising kitchen staff on a day-to-day basis, including rostering and ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining a high level of quality assurance (QA), Work Health & Safety (WH&S), HACCP, and Food Safety standards.
• Liaising with clients and residents to ensure their needs are met and food preferences are considered.

What we need from you:

• Previous experience as a kitchen manager or head chef.
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Aged care experience is desirable.
• A commercial cookery background or a hospitality industry qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience in budget and cost management.
• Strong knowledge of QA, WH&S, HACCP, and Food Safety protocols.
• Experience in designing and implementing aged care-specific menus.
• Familiarity with aged care legislation and accreditation standards.
• Empathy towards residents, staff, and clients.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills and client liaison abilities.
