Position Overview:
We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work closely with qualified electricians, assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. You will receive on-the-job training and study towards your Electrical Certificate III, setting you up for a successful career in the electrical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Electrical Installations: Support qualified electricians in installing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Help maintain and repair existing electrical systems, including troubleshooting faults and replacing components.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assist in installation and repair projects.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and electrical codes at all times while working on job sites.
• On-the-Job Learning: Participate in training and hands-on learning, developing technical skills and industry knowledge.
• General Assistance: Provide general support to the electrical team in the completion of day-to-day tasks, ensuring project deadlines are met.

• Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required as we currently have multiple commercial and residential projects located between Bundaberg and Yeppoon.

• Competitive above award salary with overtime paid. Hourly rate will be negotiated depending on year level of apprenticeship
