CK Recruitment are currently looking to fill a night shift position for our client based in Ingleburn, the role is for an immediate however we are willing to wait for the right candidate. The hours will be 10pm-6am and we are seeking someone who has worked these hours previously.

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate overhead cranes to safely lift, move, and position glass sheets and other materials within the facility.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Inspect cranes and lifting equipment before each use to ensure proper functionality.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and material handling.
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage to glass and maintain product quality.
• Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and report any equipment issues or malfunctions.
• Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of lifting equipment.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and contribute to a clean, organized working environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Overhead Crane Operator, preferably in a glass or manufacturing environment.
• Valid overhead crane operation certificate
• Strong understanding of crane operation safety procedures and load limits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver materials as required.
• Willingness to work night shift hours, including overtime when necessary.
