Security Technician - Western Suburbs (Geelong, surrounding areas - great location to be based)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Security Technician to join our dynamic team, providing installation, servicing, and maintenance of electronic security, access control, CCTV, and structured cabling systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install electronic security, access control, CCTV, and structured cabling systems at client and building sites.
• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, fault find, test, repair, and maintain security systems and CCTV equipment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, time/materials records, and inventory for compliance and reporting.
• System Updates: Ensure all relevant specifications, plans, and diagrams are followed and updated during repairs and maintenance.
• Routine Servicing: Perform routine and breakdown servicing using modern fault-finding techniques.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualifications: Electronic Security Installers License, Cabling License with Structured Cabling Endorsement.
• Experience: Knowledge of electronic security and CCTV system maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Skills: Strong ability to follow schematic diagrams, technical drawings, and written instructions.
• Compliance: Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety guidelines and federal security regulations.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Proven experience in security system and CCTV equipment maintenance.
• Ability to detect and repair faults in security panels, wiring, and fixtures.
• Ability to follow defined processes and restore systems to working order.
