Qualified Security Technician & Apprentice Security Technician

As part of our continued growth, XPRESS SECURITY have an exciting opportunity for a hard working, motivated and committed individual to join our team as a Security Technician or Security Technician Apprentice.

We are a well-established company with the majority of our work onsite in the Greater Brisbane to Gold Coast area.

This is a varied role covering several security aspects - electronic systems, alarms, access control and entrance systems. You will never be bored! Specifically, our work involves installation of:

• Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems
• Intercoms
• Electronic Access Control
• Networking IT
• Systems Programming
• Gallagher Access Control

You will need to:

• Have your own vehicle and drivers licence
• Have good communication and customer service skills
• Have a general interest in security equipment
• Be highly motivated and take pride in your work
• Be punctual, honest and reliable
• Must be fit and healthy, well presented/neat and tidy appearance (non-smoker)
• Be safety conscious
• Enjoy problem solving and working with your hands
• Enjoy attention to detail in your tasks and reporting
• Work well with others and take instruction
