The Role

Working from our ​Alanvale Campus​, the Teacher/Associate Teacher - Metals Fabrication/Welding will deliver training and assessment for Certificate II and Certificate III in Metal, Fabrication, and Welding, primarily through face-to-face teaching supplemented by practical workshop sessions.

On any given day, your duties will include:

  • Teaching and inspiring the next generation of tradespeople
  • Supporting students on campus and in their workplace
  • Managing and co-ordinating teaching & assessment materials & resources
  • Providing advice and information to students, parents and employers
  • Enjoying eleven weeks of leave per year!

What will you bring

  • Must hold a current Certificate III in Engineering or equivalent
  • Must have prior experience in welding as per Australian standards
  • Have used the following processes previously - GMAW, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW
  • A minimum of five years of experience post apprenticeship completion is desirable
  • A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement
