Endeavour Healthcare is seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, VIC. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live fulfilling and independent lives. What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, and household tasks
• Facilitating social and recreational activities to promote inclusion and enhance the wellbeing of clients
• Advocating for clients' rights and ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation to track clients' progress and needs
• Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

• Preferred qualification in Disability Support, Community Services, or a related field
• Someone who has experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, or complex support needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of those you support
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to effectively navigate challenging situations
• A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle is highly desirable
• The following are requirements for this role: NDIS Screening check, NDIS Worker Training Modules, WWCC, Police check and First-Aid.
