IP Recruitment are currently recruiting reliable, punctual and hard-working Factory Hands to work with our client located in Bayswater. These positions offer immediate starts, great long-term opportunities and 38 hours per week. We currently have positions in two separate departments within this business:

Parts & Assembly

We have vacancies in the parts department for both day and afternoon shift and day shift vacancies for assembly. The successful applicants will be responsible for various tasks including but not limited to:

• Preparing all components ready for usage in the fabrication and welding of frames
• Interpreting basic engineering drawings
• Cut steel to length and bend as required
• Safely moving material around the workshop using a forklift
• Assisting tradespeople
• General house keeping

As well as the above all applicants will need to meet the following criteria:

• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (No Working Holiday or Student Visas)
• Have previous factory experience
• Be available for an immediate start
• Hold a current forklift ticket (advantageous)
• Be able to work Monday - Friday 38 hours a week
• Pass a pre employment medical and DAS
• Be physically fit as work is repetitive
