Senior Project Manager Contract for Legacy systems to D365

Hays Technology has partnered with our key enterprise client in Brisbane to appoint a Senior Project Manager to an initial 2-year contract. This role will support a large program of work within Dynamics 365.

Your new role

In this role, you'll be at the heart of a major transformation-ensuring strong governance, managing dependencies across council, and keeping the project aligned with strategic objectives. Thr project is focused on replacing legacy systems with modern, customer-focused solutions that enhance business capabilities and meet evolving regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

• Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM platforms.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMBOK.
• Experience in managing vendors and third-party service providers.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple competing priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Dynamics 365 integration projects.
• Experience in the public sector or large enterprise environments.

Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, PMP, or PRINCE2)
