Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Technician to join our team at the Epping Fruit Market! The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various forklift models to ensure their safe and reliable operation. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Identify and replace faulty or worn-out parts.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Ensure all equipment is in compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with team members to provide efficient service.

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on Forklifts
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a forklift technician or similar role.
• License: Valid driver’s license
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions, including outdoors.
