ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Our Aquatic Centre is expanding its crew of lifeguards. We are looking for an energetic and safety conscious lifeguard for various shifts in total of approximately 10 hours per week that cover between opening at 4am to centre close at 9pm. This role will supervise our customers and ensure their safety at all times whilst using our Aquatic Centre.

In this role you will:

• Supervise all users of the Aquatic Centre ensuring high standards for safety and presentation
• Opening/closing and preparing the venue for use
• Be responsible for effectively and promptly responding to emergency situations
• Conduct rostered pool and water quality tests to ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and/or regulations

To be successful in this role you will have:

• High work ethic, commitment to professional presentation and the ability to maintain an appropriate level of fitness throughout employment.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard is highly regarded
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Blue Card
• First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Advanced Resuscitation qualification (desired)
