About the role

As the eCommerce Coordinator at Amorepacific Australia Pty Ltd', you will play a key role in driving the company's online sales and digital marketing strategy. This full-time position, based in Melbourne VIC 3000, will involve managing the company's e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, digital marketing, inventory management and membership program.

What you'll be doing

  • Shopify Website Maintenance & Management
  • Product Management: Upload and manage product and collection listings on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images including managing of product bundles
  • Website Maintenance: Maintain our e-commerce site, including updating banners, promotional content, and product categories and collections
  • Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate restocks, and update product availability on the website to avoid overselling
  • Promotions and Campaigns: Create and execute email campaigns,online promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns, ensuring all details are correctly reflected on the website
  • Data Analysis: Track and report on e-commerce performance metrics, such as sales, traffic, and conversion rates, providing insights to optimise site performance
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align e-commerce activities with overall business objectives
  • Customer Experience: Regularly audit the website, finding new ways to improve our user experience
  • Online Store Content: Keep navigation / banner and product placement updated and inline with marketing calendar and product launches
  • Merchandising: Managing all website merchandising ensuring a fresh representation of product, balancing new arrivals, best seller, key product focuses and using data insights to merchandise for sell-through
  • Website Projects: Collaborate and take on tasks associated with any major website projects from an ecommerce perspective such as website redevelopment and app integrations such as the new membership launch
  • Theme Template: Manage theme template and where required build and optimise landings pages in line with the marketing calendar
  • Store Pages: Update website pages including FAQ’s, shipping, returns etc as the processes / knowledge evolves
  • Customer service management: Assist the customer service executive with responding to general customer queries and queries regarding refunds, exchanges and complaints
  • Sales Upload: SAP & POS

Inventory Management:

  • Inventory Tracking: Monitor and manage inventory levels across e-commerce platforms, ensuring stock accuracy and availability for online sales
  • Stock Optimisation: Analyse sales trends and forecast demand to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts and overstock situations
  • System Management: Utilise inventory management software to maintain accurate records of stock levels, incoming shipments, and inventory movements
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly
  • Reporting: Generate and analyse inventory reports, providing insights to the e-commerce and operations teams to support decision-making
  • Order Fulfilment Support: Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure that inventory is properly organised and readily accessible for order fulfilment
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar eCommerce or digital marketing role, preferably within the retail or beauty industry
  • Strong proficiency in managing e-commerce platforms such as Shopify
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Creativity and attention to detail in developing engaging online content and campaigns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A passion for the beauty industry and a keen interest in e-commerce and digital marketing trends
