About The Role
The Skin Lab Brisbane is looking for a strategic and results-driven eCommerce Coordinator to optimise our Shopify store, drive sales growth, and implement key initiatives such as a loyalty rewards program, subscription services, blogs, and the skin quiz.
This is not just an eCommerce admin role—it’s a growth-focused position designed to increase online revenue, improve customer retention, improve brand positioning and enhance the customer shopping experience.
You will also manage the fulfillment team’s process, ensuring seamless order processing, accurate promotion execution, and prompt resolution of technical customer order issues.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Shopify Store Management & Optimisation
- Maintain, update, and optimise the Shopify store to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Implement conversion-focused strategies, including A/B testing product pages, improving navigation, and upselling techniques.
- Ensure SEO-optimised product descriptions, categories, and collections.
- Manage and schedule discount codes, promotions, and product bundles for marketing campaigns.
Sales Performance & Data Analysis
- Monitor Shopify analytics to track sales trends, cart abandonment rates, and customer purchasing behaviour.
- Provide monthly reports on eCommerce performance, making recommendations to improve conversion rates and revenue.
- Identify high-performing products, restocking opportunities, and potential product bundling strategies.
- Initial 2-Month Performance Benchmarking: The first 2 months will focus on collecting and analysing Shopify data to set realistic KPIs. Adjustments will be made based on actual performance trends.
Revenue Growth & Customer Retention Initiatives
- Improve Loyalty Rewards Program to encourage repeat purchases and build brand loyalty.
- Oversee the setup and optimisation of subscription-based services for recurring revenue.
- Finalise and improve the skin quiz to enhance engagement and sales conversions.
- Manage and oversee SEO-optimised blog content, ensuring alignment with marketing strategy.
Fulfilment Oversight & Customer Experience
- Orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Promotions, bundles, and discounts are correctly reflected in fulfillment workflows.
- Any order issues (e.g., incorrect shipments, stock discrepancies) are resolved quickly. \
- Oversee the fulfillment process (but not execute it directly), ensuring:
- Act as the eCommerce point of contact for the fulfillment team, assisting with any process improvements to reduce errors or delays.
- Assist the admin team in handling technical customer inquiries related to shipping, returns, and order issues.

- Proven Shopify Experience: Minimum 2 years working with Shopify, managing eCommerce store functions, and optimising sales performance.
- Data-Driven & Results-Oriented: You thrive on analysing store performance & making strategic improvements.
- Growth-Focused: You have experience completing revenue-driving projects such as loyalty programs, subscriptions, and conversion optimisation.
- SEO & Content Strategy Knowledge: You understand how content, blogs, and customer quizzes drive eCommerce growth.
- Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented: Experience with Shopify apps, Google Analytics, third-party integrations, and best UX practices.
📊 KPIs and Success Metrics
- The eCommerce Coordinator’s performance will be measured by:
- Sales Growth Rate (%) – Ensure online revenue increases by 10% per quarter (to be reviewed after initial data collection).
- Cart Abandonment Reduction (%) – Decrease abandoned carts from 65% → 55%.
- Subscription & Loyalty Program Revenue ($) – Generate $5K in new subscription revenue in 6 months.
- Average Order Value ($AOV) – Increase AOV from through upsells & bundling.
- Repeat Purchase Rate (%) – Drive a 15% increase in returning customers via loyalty incentives.
- Blog & Quiz Engagement Rates – Increase time on page, session duration, and conversions.
- Total Sales Growth (Secondary KPI) – Monitored in relation to the other KPIs to ensure broader revenue alignment.

- Starting Salary: $50K–$60K per year (pro-rata, based on experience).
- Performance-Based Bonus Potential: Additional bonus structure based on meeting KPIs for sales growth, conversion rates, and successful launch of projects.
