Our client is an ASX-listed mineral exploration company, who is seeking an Underground Mine Geologist to join their company focused on advancing their gold project from feasibility to development and production.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Project Manager (PM), this unique opportunity will see the successful candidate assist the PM with the advanced stages of the feasibility studies. At present the role will see collaboration and assistance across the exploration teams current drilling program.

This phase will also require the successful candidate to learn the geology and apply it in translating geological data into a practical mine design. You'll play a key role in the pre-development phase of the mine.

After completing the feasibility study, the company will advance to developing an underground mining operation.

Once the project transitions to the operational phase, you’ll continue to monitor the geology of the site, support ongoing drilling and ensure that the ore extraction aligns with the resource model. You will assist manage geological risks and ensure that production continues efficiently and safely.

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Geology
• Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Geologist, ideally across exploration and Underground production environments
• C Class manual WA driver’s licence
• Able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
