About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Project Logistics team in our Melbourne Head Office! This is a great opportunity for an experienced and ambitious freight forwarding Operations Officer or Project Coordinator to come on board and join an experienced, dedicated, growing and highly successful team that will help you grow your freight forwarding experience and career.

Your day-to-day will see you handling end-to-end out-of-gauge and project cargo forwarding operations along with general freight, whilst maintaining and developing relationships with our valued clients, service providers and other key internal and external stakeholders. Our “Commitment to Service” philosophy encourages every member of our organisation to provide a high level of proactive customer service and support.

As an experienced freight forwarder, you will know this is a hands-on role and can be busy, and you will relish both the challenge and opportunity to go the extra mile for our customers and your colleagues.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Extensive prior experience in end-to-end, multi modal freight forwarding operations
• Experience with out-of-gauge, RoRo and break bulk operations is highly desirable
• Be highly organised and process oriented, able to manage your time to meet deadlines
• A passion for helping customers, with a drive to deliver world-class customer service
• Experience in managing and developing client relationships
• Be an excellent communicator over phone and email
• Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently
• Have basic computer skills, with Cargowise experience being highly beneficial
• A current MSIC card, or eligibility to attain one
