Who are we?

The story of La Maison is one that fuses the old and the new - blending together historic architecture with middle eastern, Asian fusion, Modern Australian inspired cuisine. While the bones of La Maison are over 160 years old (comprised of the region’s old Customs House), Wassim Saliba and his wife Marcia have brought new life to the space since they took ownership in 2007. Over 15 years on, Wassim and Marcia have extended on the legacy, renovating and expanding the location to showcase a variety of dinning spaces. To them, and to so many patrons of the restaurant, La Maison is a homey oasis on the NSW and Victoria border - offering a space to gather, dine and delight.

Salary

At La Maison we are eager to negotiate a salary that reflects the skill and experience of the team member.

The Position

Restaurant leader with reasonable working hours, flexible depending on your situation. Our restaurant caters for a mix of a la carte dinning and large canape style functions.

By undertaking the role of Restaurant Supervisor, you will tasked with the smooth operation of the restaurant and the front of house staff.

Duties

• Training and Supervision of restaurant Staff
• Practise Responsible Serving of Alcohol
• Practice safe food handling techniques
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Upholding high customer experience standards
