The Opportunity
Foundation Housing Ltd is looking for a full-time Communications & Marketing Officer based in Leederville, WA.
This role is responsible for developing and delivering communication and marketing strategies, event plans, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to enhance brand awareness and support organisational objectives.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and executing project-specific communication and event plans to achieve organisational objectives
- Managing social media content plans and ensuring a steady stream of engaging content
- Overseeing key communication channels, including newsletters, reports, and marketing materials
- Planning and managing events for staff, tenants, and corporate audiences
- Engaging with internal teams to develop communication materials aligned with operational needs
- Providing communications and marketing advice across departments and projects
- Managing photography, video, and AV content creation for digital and print platforms
- Ensuring brand consistency across all communication and marketing materials
- Coordinating the production and distribution of communication collateral with external suppliers
- Creating and maintaining website content to reflect current initiatives and services
- Supporting corporate communications, including speechwriting and presentation development
- Upholding Foundation Housing’s corporate style guide and brand messaging across all channels
What You'll Bring
To qualify, you will need a minimum of five years' experience in a communication, marketing, or engagement role. Experience in delivering effective communication strategies and event plans will also be essential. While not essential, candidates who possess a degree in Marketing will be highly regarded.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:
- Proficiency in writing engaging content for diverse audiences and platforms
- Experience managing digital channels, including social media, photography, and AV content
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and design tools such as Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Elements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for various audiences
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary circa $77,000 to $90,000 PLUS super & additional benefits!
