Premcar are looking for experienced MIG welders/fabricators to weld and assemble suspension kits in a clean, well maintained and ventilated environment. All work will be performed at bench height, no out of position welding is required. We are looking for candidates that are confident their welding is precise, of high quality and they respect and adhere to all OHS requirements.

The Role:

To be successful in this role, the applicant will have demonstrated welding and assembly experience, be able to complete a welding skills test and be self motivated to work in a quiet environment. We have well organized, clean workstations ready to go and the freedom to meet daily build targets without constant supervision, perfect role for an experienced welder who is happy working in a small team.

Responsibilities:

To be considered for the position, candidates will need to demonstrate:

• Welding experience of at least 2 years.
• Proven experience in welding & assembly work, by completing a weld and assembly test.
• Ensure daily build targets are achieved even when unsupervised.

Personal attributes:

• Be very reliable and punctual.
• Be comfortable working in a small team, and able to self-manage daily time management.
• Have experience as a MIG welder (a qualification is preferred).
• Take pride in your work and your workplace.
• Have strong communication skills.
