Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Area Manager to join our team. Working across Southeast Queensland, Adelaide, and Canberra, you’ll oversee a rapidly expanding network of speciality E Scooter stores. This a challenging and fast-paced role that requires the ability to multi- task, develop and motivate a diverse team, maximize business growth, and lead by example in the delivery of world-class customer service. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be accountable for the success of your area.

Travel across Southeast Queensland will be required on a weekly basis while travel to Adelaide and Canberra will be on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and grow the stores in your region
• Own and take full accountability for the financial results of your area
• Conduct monthly audits of each store and create action plans following each visit
• Ensure the safety and WHS compliance for all team members, customers, and stores
• Responsible for the accuracy of inventory and stock levels across all locations
• Run successful and efficient repairs and maintenance departments across your locations
• Follow merchandising and marketing guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards for all stores
• Coach, mentor, and develop your team
• Manage team engagement and any performance issues that may arise
• Recruit and induct new team members
• Manage ongoing training for new and existing team members
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures across your area
• Identify current opportunities and areas for improvement
• Promoting and maintaining a fun and harmonious work environment

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in a multi-site management role
• A passion for providing exceptional customer service, it’s about the customer, always!
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders on all levels of the organisation
• Drive to exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Experience coaching and developing teams
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
• Lead through example while focusing on the details
• Qualifications in a related field is highly regarded
• A love of all things scooters!
