A leading commercial cleaning company is seeking interest from a highly motivated and experienced Area Manager in the Brisbane to Southwest Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced Area Manager who is looking at taking the next step in their career. You will be required early morning starts Monday to Friday to meet cleaners and contractors on site while they clean and 7 days on call availability.

As our Area Manager, you will be working to achievable quarterly and yearly KPI's. You will be working closely with the State Manager and Operations Manager but will be required to take ownership of the role and take the lead in ensuring that all aspects of the business operationally are met and maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the State Manager and Operations Manager, you will assist in the day to day operations of the business.
• You will assist in all aspects of legislative compliance are met by our business.
• Conduct site visits, conduct cleaning inspection reports, training cleaners, working with the Store management/Contractors to ensure standards and procedures are met.
• Ensure that all sites are managed correctly and are meeting the set targets.
• Report weekly to the management team offering accurate information on the weekly operational activities.
• To be considered for this role you require to have the following experience:
• 1 - 3 year's current experience in a similar role. Experience in the supermarket cleaning industry would be highly advantageous.
• Able to show proven success in Area Management within the commercial cleaning sector.
• Provable long term employment history.
• Highly organized.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Well presented, reliable, trustworthy with ethical standards.
• High level of computer literacy, ability to use Microsoft PowerPoint, office, Excel spread sheet, word, access and outlook.
• Motivated self-starter who is flexible in their approach with the ability to match clients and work within a diverse industry.
• Strong management skills, ability to manage all levels of staff and contractors.
