Teaching - Vocational (Education & Training)

We are a CRICOS registered vocational education provider in Brisbane offering quality education to domestic and international students. We are currently seeking a motivated, experienced and professional trainer and assessor to deliver face to face and training to students in ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology and ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Have a relevant or equivalent qualification in ICT
• Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in Networking and Cyber Security
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess learner competency effectively
• Experience in developing training materials and resources will be appreciated.

This is a casual position (2 days a week), with potential for further extension pending student recruitment.

About the role

You will be a Trainer and Assessor in the above qualifications.

Skills & Experience

• At least 3 years of industry experience relevant to training and be able to provide industry currency
• The ability to demonstrate VET currency and Industry Currency in your field (You must have practical experience).
• Passion for education and excellence and ability to deliver innovative, engaging, and motivating lessons, both theory and practical
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and ability to interact with individuals from various backgrounds
• Experience with training and assessment

The selected candidate must have:

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent /Higher qualification
• Diploma of Information Technology or higher qualification
