About the role

Vision Tutoring Centre is seeking experienced and passionate English High School Teachers to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As an English High School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective lessons to our group of home-schooling students. What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of secondary school students
• Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies, including the use of technology, to foster student understanding and academic success
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of student performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, develop curriculum resources, and contribute to the overall improvement of the English program
• Participate in professional development activities to continually enhance your teaching skills and knowledge
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and a love for learning

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a specialisation in English
• Relevant teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably in the subject of English
• Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and its requirements for secondary English education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and foster a supportive learning environment
• Demonstrated creativity and flexibility in lesson planning and delivery
• A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential
