We are seeking an experienced Finance Team Lead to join a well-established business in Canning Vale. This role is responsible for leading a team of four and overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional looking to step into a leadership role and drive efficiencies within the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of four, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all finance functions
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance and timely payments
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including reconciliations and reporting
• Maintain cash flow management and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to provide financial insights and support business decisions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience in finance and accounting, with a strong understanding of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
