About the role

We are seeking another experienced Cabinet Maker - Renovations to join our growing team at ML Cabinets in Malaga, WA. This full-time position will see you play a key role in delivering high-quality custom cabinetry and joinery for residential renovations projects.

What you'll be doing

• Crafting custom cabinetry, furniture and joinery items for client homes
• Reading and interpreting architectural and engineering plans to ensure accurate fabrication
• Selecting and preparing materials, operating machinery and tools to create final products
• Collaborating and or assisting with the installation team to ensure seamless on-site assembly
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized workshop environment
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Cabinet Making or equivalent trade certificate
• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience as a Cabinet Maker, ideally in the residential renovations sector
• Excellent woodworking skills and proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical drawings
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to collaborate as part of a skilled team
• Driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as required

The successful candidate must also present well have perfect customer and communication skills as we are often in owners occupied homes from insured events like floods, Fires etc and our clients are often stressed and or vulnerable therefore MLB have built our success on looking after our clients.

ML cabinets currently employ Three full time cabinet makers, Draftsman and hands on general manager whom is also fully qualified.

We also have another position vacant for a quality qualified Draftsman.
