  • Full-time opportunity working at our Berry Sport and Recreation Centre. Additional casual opportunities also available.

About the role

As an Assistant Services Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting site operations to enable the delivery of high-level customer service for programs and events hosted by the Centre for a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include providing operational service support, stock control support and safely operating equipment, as required. By fostering teamwork and continuously improving service delivery, you will contribute to a client-focused culture within the agency.

This role may require you to work weekend and evening shifts.

About you

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Services Officer role is a proactive and flexible individual who excels at prioritizing tasks amidst conflicting needs and limited resources. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability are essential to thrive in our fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your Excellent communication skills will be crucial for effectively collaborating with team members.

Your solid time management and organisational skills will enable you to prioritize tasks especially when performing on-site activities during events, such as operational support, assisting with traffic flow and parking, distributing resources, setting up and packing up event-related equipment, and safely operating equipment

You will need to be available for weekday and weekend shifts to address urgent client issues and adapt to event schedules.
