As a Consumer Services Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support and service to individuals, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Your work will ensure people receive the information, resources, and assistance they need to manage their health effectively.

This role offers excellent flexibility, with full-time and part-time options available to suit your work-life balance.

About the Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for people living with diabetes, their families, and health professionals.
  • Handle high-volume customer interactions (between 50-100 calls per day)
  • Provide exceptional service across multiple channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Assist with program navigation across Diabetes Australia.
  • Process registrations, orders, and service requests with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct outbound engagement to share membership benefits and essential health information.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with privacy and healthcare regulations.

About You

  • Experience in customer service (contact centre, healthcare, retail, or similar).
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to work across multiple systems.
  • A calm, compassionate and empathetic nature, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex interactions with care.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to teamwork and excellence.
