This leading not-profit-organisation provides services to the community to assist Australians to lead active and fulfilling lives. It provides a number of services across all age groups including disability support, mental health and community care support.
Based in their city fringe office, they seek a proactive and team orientated individual to join their Marketing team as an Events Coordinator on a temporary basis.
Your Role
- Plan, organise, and deliver a variety of events, including fundraisers, community engagements, and awareness campaigns.
- Develop event concepts, themes, and logistics to align with organisational goals.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with sponsors, vendors, partners, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
- Handle event marketing, promotions, and communications, including social media and email campaigns.
- Monitor and evaluate event success, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in event planning, coordination, or a related field.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders and build relationships.
- Creativity and problem-solving abilities to craft engaging and impactful events.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in fundraising and sponsorship management is highly regarded.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, event management tools, and social media platforms.
As this role is to start ASAP you will be available immediately and be happy to obtain a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
Based in Melbourne city fringe, there is off street parking nearby or it is easily accessed via public transport.
The role is fulltime Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and working in the office every Wednesday is essential.
