The Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity within our Head Office for a Payroll & HR Administrator to join our collaborative and friendly team. This role would be ideal for someone who enjoys payroll processing, interpreting awards, navigating the Visa system and understands the importance of timely workers compensation management.
Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include:
- Accurately prepare and process weekly payroll including employee entitlements.
- Digitally onboarding all new starters, managing terminations and variations to employee’s contracts, terms and conditions.
- Completing the monthly and annual payroll reporting and reconciliations.
- Prepare and lodge monthly Employer Superannuation obligations
- Preparing employment contracts and other employee correspondence
- Timely and accurate responses to payroll enquiries.
- Monitoring relevant legislation and ensuring that payroll practices meet award requirements.
- Assisting with maintaining all HR records, files, registers and databases, as well as HR forms and templates.
- Managing workers compensation claim paperwork and supporting communication across the business.
- Facilitating Visa documentation and working with Immigration specialists to support migrant workers within the business.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role with payroll accountability and HR administration.
- Experience using electronic payroll systems, Employment Hero is preferable.
- Strong attention to detail and administrative experience.
- Time management skills including the ability to manage competing and/or changing priorities.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills whilst ensuring confidentiality, professionalism and discretion required in a HR function.
