Training Manager – GP Programs – The Australasian College of Dermatologists

About the Australasian College of Dermatologists
The Australasian College of Dermatologists (ACD) is Australia’s accredited body for dermatology training and a peak professional organization for medical specialists in the field. As the authority on skin, hair, and nail health, we lead the way in education, information, and advocacy for dermatology across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of both online education and in-person workshops for GP programs
- Schedule and manage the annual education timetable for Dermatology Australasia courses, including training and briefing facilitators and conduct regular facilitator meetings
- Monitor and report on student metrics around engagement, enrolments and retention
- Regularly update course related content, provide weekly updates on program status and development proposals
- Ensure all courses are accredited by RACGP, ACCRM and other relevant authorities
- Train and brief facilitator and conduct regular facilitator meetings
- Undertake interstate travel and evening work (webinars, workshops, faculty meetings).
- Contribute to the creation and development of courses, including in Moodle, under the guidance of the Education Consultant.
- Lead the delivery of training programs with support from the Training Support Officer.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with course facilitators, students, and members, recruit and engage facilitators for courses, webinars, and events.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in health, education, or a relevant field
- Proven experience in a learning and development environment, preferably in a higher education provider or RTO setting
- Previous management experience
- Exposure to working alongside educators, committees, and accreditation bodies, RACGP accreditation highly desirable
- Proven project management experience, event management and cost center budget management experience
- Experience with CRM systems, database management, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication skills written and verbal
- Exceptional time management, ability to focus on multiple tasks and work with conflicting priorities
