Design Engineer

• Starting ASAP
• Full time, permanent role Mon-Friday 38-hour work week
• Deception Bay, QLD

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for civil engineering works.
• Delivering high end structural visualisation of scope of works to our clients through the production of 3D drawings.
• Liaise with all relevant stakeholders including attending site meetings and inspections to ensure we are delivering exceptional service.
• Provision of timely and accurate drawings and documentation for all tender submissions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years + engineering experience (preferably within the scaffolding industry) or experience in formwork and temporary structures, as well as previous site-based experience (highly preferred)
• Degree qualified and a member or eligibility to be a member of Engineers Australia,
• Strong understanding and practice of structural design and strong drafting skills and a strong working knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
• Proficiency across a range of software packages such as AutoCAD, 3D or Revit, your strengths will be your strong technical ability and conceptual understanding.
• Solid communication skills, high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
