About the Role:
SA Farmer magazine, a leading publication dedicated to showcasing agriculture in South Australia, is looking for a talented freelance Copywriter/Photographer to contribute to its quarterly issues. We need someone with a passion for viticulture, horticulture, agriculture, storytelling, and photography who can capture the essence of rural life and create engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Writing high-quality, engaging copy for the magazine, covering topics such as local farms, agricultural trends, sustainable practices, and regional features.
• Capturing compelling, high-resolution photographs that complement editorial content, showcasing farms, landscapes, and rural communities in the Gawler / Barossa region.
• Collaborating with the editorial team to meet deadlines and deliver content that aligns with the publication’s vision and standards.
• Working independently while maintaining clear communication with the magazine's team.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both copywriting and photography, with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to write engaging content and capture visually appealing images.
• Knowledge of the South Australian agricultural industry or a keen interest in it.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
• Excellent time-management skills to meet editorial deadlines.
• Own camera equipment is required for photography assignments.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different topics and audiences.
