The Role
As the Estimating Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the company while also being actively involved in hands-on estimation. You will lead and mentor a team, drive tender submissions, and ensure accurate cost estimation for a variety of civil construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the company's continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the estimating team and oversee the preparation of accurate and competitive project cost estimates.

Manage the full tendering process, from reviewing project specifications to submitting bids.

Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to ensure profitable and competitive pricing.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop effective construction methodologies.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in estimation and tendering.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Keep up to date with industry trends, pricing structures, and regulatory requirements.

About You:

Extensive experience in civil construction estimating, with a proven track record in preparing tenders for various projects.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a high-performing estimating team.

Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and costs.

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
