The Role

Utilise your estimating expertise and join this large QLD State Government Department! Your duties will include:

• Produce high quality estimates and quotation documentation for building projects.
• Ensuring compliance with the State Purchasing Policy, Minor Works, local instructions and tendering and contract methods, and client requirements.
• Undertaking research and development in project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery processes and procurement practices.
• Enhancing client relationships through effective communication, sound negotiation and the provision of timely, professional, competitive estimates.
• Reporting on relevant estimating projects, providing information on volume, requests, clients, locations, acceptance rates, costs, schedule of rates, margins, and productivity.

You

• Proven experience and knowledge in an Estimating role, within the construction/engineering industry.
• Trade/construction knowledge/background.
• Experience using computer based estimating packages.
• Proven ability to prepare documentation using appropriate communication styles.
