This vacancy may be available in either Alice Springs or Darwin subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.

The Case Manager at the Forensic Disability Unit (FDU) is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing personalized support plans, and providing interventions to clients with severe cognitive impairments who have been deemed Unfit to Plead under the Criminal Code. Key duties include delivering high-quality clinical services, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the development of individualized care plans. The role also involves maintaining strong communication with the client’s care team, liaising with service providers, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The Case Manager must work in accordance with relevant legislation and policies while ensuring a safe, positive work environment and promoting continuous professional development. This role requires professional independence and a focus on ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe services in both Darwin and Alice Springs.
