We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Manager to lead a lovely residential care facility in providing exceptional care and service for residents. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the well-being of seniors and veterans while driving operational excellence in a multi-resident home.
Role
As Facility Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, including care delivery, lifestyle programs, and governance. You will lead a diverse team to ensure residents experience a safe, welcoming, and high-quality home-like environment, while maintaining compliance and budgetary requirements.
- Leadership: Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team, promoting engagement, development, and high performance.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee facility operations, including clinical care, food services, and lifestyle programs.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to aged care regulations and standards, including risk management and accreditation processes.
- Resident-Centric Care: Create a culturally safe and supportive environment that respects residents' identities, backgrounds, and preferences.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with local groups and veterans' organisations, enhancing the facility’s reputation and community involvement.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets effectively, including labour costs and operational expenses.
Person
- Minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in operational or administrative roles, ideally in healthcare, aged care, or customer-focused sectors.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to leadership and resident care.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant undergraduate qualifications (e.g., Business, Nursing, or Health Service Management).
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualifications in Business Administration or Health Management.
- Understanding of the aged care regulatory environment and veterans' needs.
